Welcome to Sisters A-Frame, a peaceful beachfront retreat at Sisters Beach. Surrounded by lush national park, the shack looks out over Sisters Island, the ocean and the creek, offering a truly immersive nature experience.

Built in the 1960s, Sisters A-Frame is an A-frame shack designed to help you relax the moment you arrive. Calm, quiet and full of character, it’s the perfect place to slow down and unwind by the sea.

The cozy main bedroom features a queen bed and soft European linen curtains that flow seamlessly from the upstairs lounge into the sleeping space.

Spend evenings by the fire, stroll down the private illuminated path to the beach, and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. In the morning, enjoy front-row views of the sunrise from bed — and if you’re lucky, you may even spot whales offshore.

Start your day however you choose: coffee in a quiet nook, a swim in the ocean, a paddle in the kayak, or yoga on the deck at sunrise. Sisters A-Frame offers something for every pace.

The interior is inspired by New Mediterranean design and has been professionally styled with a mix of one-of-a-kind pieces and antiques. Venetian plaster walls add warmth and texture, while the original floors have been preserved to honour the shack’s history. Tassie Oak throughout blends old and new for a beautifully imperfect finish. A curated selection of books, including Mediterranean lifestyle titles, reflects the inspiration behind the space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with hand-cut splashback tiles, a four-burner cooktop, large oven and grill, fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, blender and all essential cookware. A basic pantry is provided, including coffee, a selection of teas, olive oil, salt and pepper, along with extras such as rice, pasta, oats and spices. Please enjoy what you need and be mindful of future guests. A small corner store is nearby, though we recommend shopping in Burnie or Wynyard before arriving.

As an A-frame, some areas of the home are compact. The shack also features a steep internal staircase and a large external staircase to enter the property, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. These quirks are part of what make Sisters A-Frame unique.

Unlimited Wi-Fi is provided, however due to the remote location, mobile coverage is limited and providers other than Telstra may not work reliably in Sisters Beach.
